Thanks for this enlightening conversation! Here is my 3-word sentence piece:
Learning to parent. Making many mistakes. Co-parenting with ex. Prone to paranoia. Nothing terrible happens. Mental illness abounds. Stable, happy marriage. Great achievement unlocked. Lost my uterus. Gained much weight. Changed my name. Said I'm non-binary. Quit many jobs. Got some glasses. Stopped feeling suicidal. But not forever. Life got hard. Can't manage stress. Psych hospital helped. Still love spouse. Adopted a cat. Daughter is happier. She's changing schools. Feels quite anxious. Anxiety always present. I can help. I'm not working. I am writing. Writing is life.
I'm impressed with how you did this. Was it difficult? Because it flows so well. And you didn't duck the hard stuff. Thank you very much for taking the time to write this, and for letting us read what you wrote. And hooray for you. So glad you are feeling some relief. Yeah, anxiety tends to stick around. It does lessen as you get older, but then there is is banging on your door again, like an unwelcome relative. (I don't open the door anymore.).
Thank you again for your hard work.
yours,
abby
You did it. You went deep. Thrilled for you. Happy you sent.
Just keep writing. Writing saves lives. It saved mine. Loved your work.
See what happens? Three word addiction. Can't stop now..
Oh, Abby, how kind of you to comment on my silly little scribbles! It was super easy. It just came out like that, I think it took a couple of minutes? Or however long it took to type the words. They just came. I wouldn't call it hard work! I love this exercise so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Abby, for the inspiration and also your wisdom about anxiety.
